Abstract Over the past decade, two-dimensional (2D) Ti 3 C 2 T x MXenes demonstrated attractive characteristics such as high electrical conductivity, tunable layered structure, controllable interfacial chemical composition, optical transparency, and excellent electromagnetic wave absorption, enabling promising electrode materials in energy storage devices. Among these devices, flexible devices have attracted wide attention developed rapidly due to synchronously electrochemical mechanical properties. This review summarizes recent progress of pertaining novel material preparation applications conversion including batteries, supercapacitors, solar cells, steam generation. work aims provide an in-depth reasonable understanding relationship between unique nanostructure/chemical composition competitive properties, which will facilitate development 2D for practical
